"Poon and Fauk"

Like I said earlier I wanted to work on just taking a few SOOC (straight out of camera) photos for a bit. All of these top photos are just that, however the light dimmed just as I asked Katie for a smile, so my white balance was off on the bottom photo and I couldn't resist to touch it up a bit. Oh well, that's just me ;D

She's getting so good at using her spoon and fork like a big girl. She calls the spoon a "poon" HAHA!! and a fork a "fauk" HeeHee

Imperfect Beauty

Outside of my box for a while. My sister in law is inspiring me YET AGAIN to think outside the box. No editing my photos for a bit. Looking for the beauty in /of flaws.

A Letter to Katie

Dear Katelynn,

Mommy and Daddy are not quite ready for you to stop taking your naps. Please reconsider. Naps are very good for building strong healthy happy babies!! :D

All our love,

Mommy and Daddy

Comfort of Home

and I wish I could just curl up on this couch today and read my book, sip some hot coffee and watch katie bounce off the walls while the snow melts away, but duty calls at work...YUCK!

My Secret Weapon

Letting you into my little secret weapon: Annie Manning Paint the Moon Actions and Textures for PS and PSE. LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!

18 mo old and her Little Striped Hat

I have not been taking photos like I used to. I just haven't had the time these past couple months!! Need to make more time because this little one is changing daily I swear!! Here she is 18 mo old! She is such a joy and her little personality is so charming! Hard to believe she looks so peaceful in this photo....but she is into EVERYTHING now. Our heads are spinning trying to keep up w/ her.

Water Baby

Water, thou hast no taste, no color, no odor; canst not be defined, art relished while ever
mysterious. Not necessary to life, but rather life itself, thou fillest us with a
gratification that exceeds the delight of the senses.
