Katelynn gets her first edit

So I've been searching blogs and flickr for fabulous photos and ideas etc. Learning all about photography and realize sooooo many of them edit their shots. I haven't been. Isn't that cheating? Basically the only editing I do is crop and B&W. I don't have photoshop and wouldn't know yet how to use it anyway. I did try something free called Picnik. Basically you can sharpen the photo, change contrast, color, exposure etc. nothing major. Here are a few I changed:

These were spur of the moment shots taken. I was playing w/ the light taking advantage of a sleeping baby. Practicing practicing practicing. I realize I need a bigger backdrop to give me more playing room.
